Description
The Harvest Edition is the autumn member of Lochlea's seasonal Crop series, the richest of the four, matured across Port, Oloroso and ex-Bourbon. This First Crop is an outturn of 9,000 bottles, tied to the gathering of the year's barley.
Three cask types layer the fruit: the Port lending plum, the Oloroso dried fruit through its melanoidins, the bourbon vanilla beneath.
At 46% it shows citrus, cooked and fresh fruit, a glasshouse-green note, hay and honey, fruit-forward and rounded. The First Crop Harvest.
