This Open Special Edition marks the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews in 2022, a milestone for the tournament, from official spirit Loch Lomond. A no-age-statement Highland single malt with a red-wine influence.
Matured in American oak with a red-wine cask, the wine lends berry fruit and a drying edge over the vanilla-laced spirit.
At 46% it shows an oily texture, honey, a leafy lift, chocolate and a mossy note with the wine fruit. A 150th St Andrews Open release.
