This Island Collection Inchmurrin is finished in Madeira, the floral island malt given a candied, baked-sweet turn by the fortified-wine cask. Distilled in the straight-neck Lomond stills.
After American-oak maturation, a finish in Madeira lends candied fruit and a burnt-sugar tang from the cask's baked, oxidised wine.
At 46% it shows fresh and dried fruit, vanilla and chocolate with the Madeira's candied sweetness and a faint solvent lift. A Madeira-finished Inchmurrin.
