Description
This Inchmurrin 1966 is a genuine rarity, distilled in Loch Lomond's very first year of operation and bottled at 33 years old. An early vintage of the distillery's floral island malt.
Three decades in ex-Bourbon matured the light spirit gently, the oak lending vanilla while the years took their share of the cask toward the gentle 40% over the years.
At 40% it shows the soft, worn maturity of a great age, the floral Inchmurrin fruit folded into vanilla and old wood. A rare 1966-vintage island malt.
