Description

This Inchmurrin 18 Year Old, from the Island Collection, takes Loch Lomond's floral malt to a mature age. Distilled in the straight-neck Lomond stills at a high cut, it keeps its fruit while the years add weight.

Eighteen years in ex-Bourbon round the spirit, slow oxidation building soft fruit while the low-tannin oak lends vanilla.

At 46% it shows orchard fruit and honey deepened by age, the straight-neck-still esters now folded into a rounder, mellower whole. A mature Inchmurrin.
