Description
From Sansibar, this Loch Lomond Single Grain, the distillery's 100% malted-barley grain, is a rare 35 year old from 1987, bottled as Xaver Bar Choice No. 8.
Thirty-five years in ex-Bourbon mature the light grain deeply, the oak lending vanilla while the years took their share of the cask over more than three decades.
At 56.3% it shows deep, mature vanilla and soft grain over old wood, undiluted. A rare mature grain.
