Description
Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Douglas Laing founded the firm in 1948. This Old Particular is a Loch Lomond Single Grain, the distillery's 100% malted-barley grain, a 27 year old from 1995, cask DL 15893.
Twenty-seven years in ex-Bourbon mature the light grain, the low-tannin oak giving vanilla as the cask slowly gave to the angels over the decades.
At 51.5% it shows mature vanilla and soft grain over old wood, undiluted. An Old Particular grain.
