Murray McDavid's prestige Mission Gold range carries this Loch Lomond Single Grain, the distillery's unusual 100% malted-barley grain, a 26 year old from 1996.
Twenty-six years in ex-Bourbon mature the light grain spirit, vanilla from the gentle oak as the humid warehouse drew off the cask over the decades.
At 54.1% it shows mature vanilla and soft grain over old wood, undiluted. A mature Mission Gold grain.
