The Vintage Malt Whisky Company's Cooper's Choice carries this Loch Lomond Single Grain, the distillery's unusual 100% malted-barley grain, a 24 year old from 1995 drawn from cask 31865.
Twenty-four years in ex-Bourbon mature the light grain spirit, the oak lending vanilla while the years took their share of the cask over the decades.
At 51% it shows mature vanilla and soft grain over old wood, undiluted. A mature Cooper's Choice grain.
