From Meadowside Blending's Grainman range, this Loch Lomond Single Grain, the distillery's 100% malted-barley grain, is a 22 year old from 1996, cask 19891.
Twenty-two years in ex-Bourbon mature the light grain, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla as the angel's share thinned the cask over the decades.
At 57.7% it shows mature vanilla and soft grain over old wood, undiluted. A mature Grainman grain.
