From Murray McDavid's Select Grain limited release, this Loch Lomond Single Grain, the distillery's 100% malted-barley grain, is an 18 year old from 1996.

Eighteen years in ex-Bourbon mature the light grain spirit, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla.

At 46% it shows new wood, vanilla and a soft, light grain with a faint solvent lift. A mature select grain.
