This Exclusive Cask, number 22/428-1, finishes a 10 year old Loch Lomond in a red wine cask, an outturn of 326 bottles. The distillery's balanced Highland spirit takes a fruitier, wine-led turn.

Ten years with a red-wine influence lend berry fruit and a drying tannic edge, the wine's pigments and tannins set against the light spirit.

At 50% it shows red-wine berry fruit over the soft Highland base, vanilla from the oak beneath. A wine-cask Exclusive Cask 10.
