Description
Another tiny private single cask of 60 bottles, this 32 Year Old is a 1990 vintage Littlemill from the distillery's last working years. A finite survivor: nothing new has come from Bowling since 1992.
Thirty-two years in a single ex-Bourbon cask matured the light Lowland spirit, the low-tannin oak giving vanillin and lactones slowly while oxidation drew out soft fruit and the angel's share eased the strength.
At 49.8% it carries vanilla, honey and orchard fruit over a gentle Lowland base, the poise of three decades in one cask. A private-cask 32, from a distillery long gone.
