Gordon & Company is a long-standing Scotch bottling name. A 26 year old Littlemill, from cask 134, this was distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2014, in The Pearls of Scotland range. The distillery is gone, so what survives in cask is all there will ever be.

Twenty-six years of ex-Bourbon soften Littlemill's grassy, honeyed make.

Bottled at 43.5%, vanilla and light oak come from the bourbon cask. The Lowland softness shows, floral and lightly fruity. A refill barrel works slowly: vanillin for vanilla, lactones for coconut, and oxidation building soft orchard fruit. Great age in a dunnage warehouse means the angel's share has taken much of the cask and gently lowered the strength, concentrating what remains.
