Description
Anam na h-Alba, Gaelic for the soul of Scotland, is an independent single-cask label. A 24 year old Littlemill, this was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2014. Few bottles, a silent distillery and a great age together make this a genuine collector's piece.
Twenty-four years in the bourbon cask polish Littlemill's elegant Lowland character.
Bottled at cask strength, 48.5%, vanilla and a gentle oak sweetness from the bourbon cask. Soft fruit, hay and honey over a creamy base. Furfural from the toasted oak lends a faint almond note, lignin the vanilla, the low tannins a soft frame.
