The Whiskyman is an independent bottler. A 24 year old Littlemill, this was distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2012. A lost distillery leaves only what was already laid down, and those reserves grow thinner each year.

Twenty-four years in ex-Bourbon lend a light oak frame to the light, clean Littlemill make.

At 54.2%, undiluted, the bourbon cask lends vanilla and creamy fudge. On the palate, new wood, fresh fruit, a hay-like note, honey, a leafy lift, a malt note. Slow extraction from low-tannin American oak gives vanilla and a creamy sweetness without ever overpowering the make.
