Description
Berry Bros & Rudd began bottling spirits under its own label in the early 19th century, trading since 1698. The cask was filled in 1992 and bottled in 2015, a 23 year old Littlemill, from cask 506, in the Berrys' range. As the last casks are bottled, Littlemill grows scarcer with every release.
Matured in ex-Bourbon, twenty-three years carry Littlemill's buttery Lowland fruit.
Bottled undiluted at 57%, the ex-Bourbon lends vanilla and a creamy oak note. A delicate, floral character, silky and gently sweet. The refill ex-Bourbon gives up vanillin and lactones slowly, framing the light spirit with vanilla and coconut rather than swamping it.
