Description
The Whisky Agency bottles single casks from Germany, each under distinctive artwork. Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2013, this is a 23 year old Littlemill. Once these casks are gone, Littlemill is gone with them.
It spent twenty-three years in ex-Bourbon, long enough to round its buttery, honeyed Lowland style.
Bottled undiluted at 52.4%, the ex-Bourbon adds vanilla and a honeyed oak note. Grassy, honeyed and softly floral to the close. Decades of slow oxidation turned the spirit's aldehydes to acids and then to fruity esters, the ex-Bourbon adding vanilla beneath.
