Description
Kierzek-Berlin is an independent bottler. Filled in 1989 and bottled in 2012, the whisky is a 23 year old Littlemill, from cask 3587, from the Kierzek Rare Selection range. These are the last of Littlemill, a closed distillery's stock dwindling toward nothing.
An ex-Bourbon cask and twenty-three years shape the fine, fruity Littlemill make.
At its natural 58.1%, the ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and a creamy oak. Honey, vanilla and a buttery Lowland softness carry it. The American oak's low tannin let Littlemill's delicacy survive the years, contributing vanilla and a creamy lactone note.
