Description

The Whisky Cask is an independent bottler. A 23 year old Littlemill, this was distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2012. The distillery is gone, so what survives in cask is all there will ever be.

Twenty-three years in Oloroso draw the cask's fruit into Littlemill's gentle Lowland character.

At its natural 54.9%, the Oloroso adds dried fruit, nutmeg and polished oak. Fragrant and clean, with orchard fruit and creamy fudge. Sherry residue and European-oak tannin lend raisin, nutmeg and a walnut dryness over the soft Lowland base.
