Description
Berry Bros & Rudd began bottling spirits under its own label in the early 19th century, trading since 1698. This 22 year old Littlemill, from cask 21 came off the stills in 1990 and was bottled in 2013, part of the Berrys' series. Silent since 1992 and demolished in 2005, Littlemill exists now only in the casks that remain.
Aged twenty-two years in ex-Bourbon, the oak lifts its buttery, honeyed Lowland style.
At 46%, a vanilla sweetness comes from the bourbon cask. Light and fragrant, the elegant Lowland signature throughout. Long oxidation coaxes fruity esters from the spirit, the ex-Bourbon's vanillin and lactones adding vanilla and coconut.
