Britain's oldest wine and spirits merchant, Berry Bros & Rudd has bottled whisky for over a century. This 22 year old Littlemill, from cask 16 was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2013, from the Berrys' range. With the distillery demolished and no new spirit possible, every bottle is drawn from a pool that only shrinks.
Twenty-two years in the bourbon cask polish the silky, floral spirit.
Bottled at 46%, soft vanilla and oak come from the ex-Bourbon. Fragrant and clean, with orchard fruit and creamy fudge. Slow extraction from low-tannin American oak gives vanilla and a creamy sweetness without ever overpowering the make.
