Description
Thosop Import is an independent bottler. This 22 year old Littlemill was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2011. A lost distillery leaves only what was already laid down, and those reserves grow thinner each year.
Matured in Oloroso, twenty-two years wrap the creamy, vanilla-rich spirit in the cask's character.
Bottled at cask strength, 55.4%, the Oloroso adds dried fruit, nutmeg and polished oak. The profile runs to dried fruit, old wood. Caramelised wood sugars and sherry melanoidins build dried fruit and spice, the tannins a dry backbone.
