Description
Cadenhead's was founded in Aberdeen in 1842 and is Scotland's oldest independent bottler, now based in Campbeltown. The cask was filled in 1991 and bottled in 2012, a 21 year old Littlemill. Once these casks are gone, Littlemill is gone with them.
Ex-Bourbon and twenty-one years round Littlemill's grassy, honeyed make.
At its natural 55.2%, the bourbon cask adds a soft vanilla frame. A delicate, floral character, silky and gently sweet. The oak's vanillin and wood sugars lend vanilla and light toffee, the spirit's own esters bringing the fruit.
