Description
The Whisky Agency, a cult German independent, releases characterful single casks. This 20 year old Littlemill came off the stills in 1992 and was bottled in 2012. Silent since 1992 and demolished in 2005, Littlemill exists now only in the casks that remain.
A bourbon barrel and twenty years settle the lost distillery's soft spirit.
Bottled at cask strength, 51.6%, a vanilla sweetness comes from the bourbon cask. A fragrant, fruity Littlemill, honeyed and silky. The refill ex-Bourbon gives up vanillin and lactones slowly, framing the light spirit with vanilla and coconut rather than swamping it.
