Description
Berry Bros & Rudd, founded in 1698, draws single casks for its Berrys' Own Selection. This bottling is a 20 year old Littlemill, from cask 11, laid down in 1992 and drawn off in 2013, part of the Berrys' series. What remains is all that ever will, the distillery long since lost.
Matured in ex-Bourbon, twenty years carry the fragrant Lowland character.
At its natural 54.5%, the ex-Bourbon lends vanilla and a creamy oak note. Buttery vanilla and orchard fruit, classic Littlemill. The oak's vanillin and wood sugars lend vanilla and light toffee, the spirit's own esters bringing the fruit.
