Description
Silver Seal is the Italian label of Massimo Righi, a collectable single-cask house. Distilled in 1990, this 19 year old Littlemill was bottled in 2009, in the Sestante Collection range. No spirit has flowed at Bowling since 1992, leaving only the casks already filled.
An ex-Bourbon cask and nineteen years shape Littlemill's gentle, grassy make.
At its natural 57%, the ex-Bourbon lends vanilla and a creamy oak note. Light and fragrant, the elegant Lowland signature throughout. American oak is low in tannin, so the cask works gently, hemicellulose caramelising to light toffee and lignin yielding vanilla.
