Description
Jack Wiebers Whisky World is a German independent with a long catalogue of single casks. This 16 year old Littlemill was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2007, part of the Auld Distillers Collection series. A lost distillery leaves only what was already laid down, and those reserves grow thinner each year.
Sixteen years of ex-Bourbon soften its delicate, honeyed spirit.
At its natural 53.5%, vanilla rises from the ex-Bourbon over the soft fruit. Light and fragrant, the elegant Lowland signature throughout. The refill ex-Bourbon gives up vanillin and lactones slowly, framing the light spirit with vanilla and coconut rather than swamping it.
