van Wees, a Netherlands independent, is known for its Ultimate single casks. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2017, this is a 8 year old Linkwood, from cask 800076, in The Ultimate range.

Held in ex-Bourbon for eight years, the oak settles Linkwood's clear-wort delicacy.

At 46%, the ex-Bourbon adds vanilla and a honeyed oak note. Floral, grassy and softly honeyed to the close.
