van Wees is a Dutch independent behind the long-running Ultimate range. This 7 year old Linkwood, from cask 800022, was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2015, in The Ultimate range.
Seven years in a refill bourbon cask keep the fragrant, grassy Linkwood character bright.
Bottled at 46%, a vanilla sweetness comes from the bourbon cask. Fragrant and clean, with orchard fruit and a floral note.
