Description
Sestante was one of the pioneering Italian independents, collected for the vintage Islay casks it bottled in the 1980s. This 48 year old Linkwood came off the stills in 1939 and was bottled in 1987.
From ex-Bourbon, 48 years draw out the silky, fragrant Speyside spirit.
At 40%, the American oak frames the fruit with vanilla. Expect a cooked-mash note.
