Linkwood 41 Years Old 1972 Cask #14796 (G&M)

Gordon & MacPhail of Elgin has shaped independent bottling for over a century, since 1895. This 41 year old Linkwood, from cask 14796, came off the stills in 1972 and was bottled in 2013, from the Speyside Collection range.

Matured in Oloroso, forty-one years wrap Linkwood's gentle, fruity Speyside style in the cask's character.

Bottled at 43%, the Oloroso adds dried fruit, nutmeg and polished oak. On the palate, a hay-like note, chocolate, citrus, cooked fruit, dried fruit, fresh fruit.
