Description
Sestante was one of the pioneering Italian independents, collected for the vintage Islay casks it bottled in the 1980s. The cask was filled in 1946 and bottled in 1986, a 40 year old Linkwood.
A bourbon barrel and forty years settle Linkwood's gentle, fruity Speyside style.
Bottled at 40%, the American oak frames the fruit with vanilla. Apple blossom, hay and gentle honey on the close.
