Description
Gordon & MacPhail, founded in Elgin in 1895, pioneered the bottling of single malts as single malts. This bottling is a 37 year old Linkwood, laid down in 1969 and drawn off in 2006.
An ex-Bourbon cask and thirty-seven years shape Linkwood's hallmark floral lift.
At 43%, the bourbon cask adds a soft vanilla frame. Floral, grassy and softly honeyed to the close.
