Description
Adelphi revived a historic Glasgow distilling name as a small independent bottler, hand-numbering its single casks. Distilled in 1993, this 25 year old Linkwood, from cask 4669, was bottled in 2019, in the Limited range.
From an ex-Bourbon cask, twenty-five years draw out Linkwood's clear-wort delicacy.
Bottled at cask strength, 50.4%, the American oak adds vanilla over the orchard fruit. It carries dried fruit, a fragrant note, a glasshouse note, a sherried character, a solvent note.
