Description
Wemyss Malts, owners of Kingsbarns, bottles single casks under evocative names rather than numbers. This 19 year old Linkwood was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2014.
It spent nineteen years in ex-Bourbon, long enough to round Linkwood's fruity, slow-distilled make.
At 46%, the ex-Bourbon lends vanilla and a soft oak frame. The profile is light and floral, green apple over vanilla.
