van Wees is a Dutch independent behind the long-running Ultimate range. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2023, this is a 14 year old Linkwood, from cask 33963, in The Ultimate range.
Time in ex-Bourbon, fourteen years of it, frames Linkwood's clear-wort delicacy.
Bottled at 46%, the ex-Bourbon lends vanilla and a soft oak frame. Soft pear, meadow flowers and a wisp of vanilla.
