Murray McDavid, the independent founded in 1996, is known for its cask finishes. This bottling is a 14 year old Linkwood, from cask 1907246, laid down in 2008 and drawn off in 2023, in the Benchmark range.
Matured in Margaux, fourteen years deepen its light, honeyed Speyside spirit with the cask.
At 55.3%, undiluted, the Bordeaux cask lends berry fruit and a fine tannic edge. Expect citrus, fresh fruit, honey, a toasted note.
