Leverings Ossenkämper Kräuterlikör

Leverings Ossenkamper is a German herbal liqueur, made by the Leverings distillery and bottled at a firm 40%. It is built on a secret herbal recipe that gives it a unique complexity, harmonising herbal and spicy flavours into a powerful yet balanced character. The careful selection of herbs and spices is the whole point, placing it in the traditional German herbal style of full strength digestifs.

The nose is strong with fresh herbs, spicy notes and a fine sweetness over cinnamon and cloves, the palate full bodied and spicy with the herbaceous intensity of rosemary, thyme and sage combined with a slightly sweet, balanced spice, finishing long lasting and powerful with a herbal, spicy aftertaste. Behind the bar it brings herbal depth, warm spice and a robust body, the way a bittersweet digestif does, which lets it stand as a neat after dinner pour or add herbal backbone to a stirred drink. It is best neat at room temperature or over ice to develop the herbs. Serve it as a classic digestif.
