Laphroaig Lp12 ElD Elements of Islay (Elixir)

Elixir Distillers is the house of collector Sukhinder Singh, behind the Elements of Islay range. A 7 year old Laphroaig, this was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2021.

Held in Oloroso for 7 years, the cask steeps the brine-soaked peat smoke in dried fruit.

At 54.7%, undiluted, the Oloroso brings dried fruit, fig and walnut. It carries a medicinal edge, smoke, fresh fruit, leather, a rubbery note, a nutty note.
