Description

Brodir, Norse for brother, is a travel retail Laphroaig finished in Port; this is its first batch, from 2014. The wine cask gives it a fruity, sweeter cast.

A Port finish brings plum and cherry with a jammy sweetness over the smoke.

At 48% the medicinal peat sits with honey, chocolate, citrus and a mossy note. The first Brodir batch.
