Description
Duncan Taylor began as a Glasgow cask broker in 1938 and now bottles from Huntly in Aberdeenshire. Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2021, this 9 year old Laphroaig, from cask 56394 followed., from the Dimensions range.
A bourbon barrel and nine years settle the tarry medicinal core.
Bottled undiluted at 54.8%, the bourbon wood adds vanilla and light spice. Iodine, brine and peat smoke define the south-Islay style.
