Description

Moon-Import was founded in 1980 by Pepi Mongiardino and ranks among Italy's most revered independents, famous for themed series like The Birds. This 9 year old Laphroaig, from cask 1558 + 1559 came off the stills in 1984 and was bottled in 1993. in The Sails in the Wind range.

Aged nine years in ex-Bourbon, the oak rounds the tarry, iodine-laced spirit.

Bottled at 46%, soft vanilla comes from the ex-Bourbon. Expect a coal-gas edge.
