Description
Signatory Vintage was founded in Edinburgh in 1988 by Andrew Symington, who later bought Edradour distillery. This 32 year old Laphroaig, from cask 81, was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2023., part of the Rare Reserve - Cask Strength Collection.
It spent thirty-two years in ex-Bourbon, long enough to round the famous Laphroaig smoke.
Bottled at cask strength, 51.4%, the ex-Bourbon adds a vanilla sweetness. It carries a cooked-vegetable note, fresh fruit.
