Kingsbury is a long-running independent now based in Japan, bottling Scotch single casks for the Asian market and beyond. This bottling is a 25 year old Laphroaig, from cask 60, laid down in 1995 and drawn off in 2020., from the Celtic Series range.
Time in ex-Bourbon, twenty-five years of it, frames Laphroaig's tar-and-iodine smoke.
At its natural 56.1%, soft vanilla comes from the ex-Bourbon. The profile runs to a cooked-mash note.
