The Whisky Agency is a German independent celebrated for its illustrated single-cask labels. Distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2009, this 23 year old Laphroaig followed.
Time in ex-Bourbon, twenty-three years of it, frames the medicinal Islay spirit.
At 51%, undiluted, the ex-Bourbon adds a vanilla sweetness. The medicinal smoke is unmistakable, brine and tar behind it.
