Description

Founded in 1938, Duncan Taylor moved to Huntly and built a name on old and closed-distillery casks. This 21 year old Laphroaig, from cask 3325, was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2018., part of the Rare Auld series.

Twenty-one years of ex-Bourbon soften the iodine-rich spirit.

At 49.5%, undiluted, the bourbon oak lends vanilla. Expect tarry peat, iodine and a coastal salinity.
