Description

Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Laing founded the firm in 1948. This bottling is a 21 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 8905, laid down in 1990 and drawn off in 2012.

Twenty-one years in ex-Bourbon let the oak work Laphroaig's antiseptic, oily smoke.

At its natural 53.7%, vanilla and coconut from the bourbon oak. Iodine, brine and peat smoke define the south-Islay style.
