Description
Signatory Vintage has released single casks from Edinburgh since 1988, and owns Edradour distillery. A 20 year old Laphroaig, from cask 700392, this was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2018., from the 30th Anniversary range.
Matured in Oloroso, twenty years wrap peat heavy with tar and brine in the cask's character.
At 58.3%, undiluted, raisin, fig and a savoury nuttiness from the Oloroso. Expect chocolate, dried fruit, smoke, an oily texture, old wood, a sherried character.
