Description
The Whisky Fair is a German independent tied to the Limburg whisky festival. A 20 year old Laphroaig, this was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2011.
Held in ex-Bourbon for twenty years, the oak settles Laphroaig's coastal, medicinal character.
At its natural 52.1%, the bourbon cask adds vanilla. The peat reads medicinal and oily, iodine cutting through.
